The last U.I. conference saw over 200 17-25s from across the UK get together in the glamorous city of Derby! The conference was more about relationship than ever before - eating dinner all together, having a cafe every evening, making crazy videos (we didn’t know there was so much talent out there!)... The humour continued into the main sessions as we were entertained and challenged by Brian Heasley and the stories of all God’s doing through him and his 24-7 team in Ibiza. It was great to come and worship God throughout the event - his presence was felt powerfully, and we felt privileged to encounter him together.

This year, we think we have an even better line up planned! Not only do we have legendary New Zealander Fraser Hardy and his wife Dale with us, we also have the well-known Soul Survivor speaker Amy Orr-Ewing ... and that’s just to get us started! We are looking forward to being inspired by Fraser and Dale’s new and relevant ways of doing church. They have spent the past few years exploring how church can be relevant and engaging in our culture, and, as a pioneering prophet, Fraser isn’t afraid of asking the difficult questions. Amy, who works for Zacharius Trust UK, is an international speaker, wife and mum who has a remarkable ability to show how Jesus is the answer to the questions our friends are asking. We’re also going to have a series of optional workshops, led by the likes of you, where we can explore together what it means to live for God in our society, be that at work, at Uni, or down the bar. We want to create a space for us to discover how God’s kingdom impacts upon every area of life and society, and how we can engage with issues of justice, politics, culture and more...
