| Where? |
Gagnières Christian Centre, South of France |
| When? |
Saturday 9 August - Thursday 14 August 2008 |
| Why? |
The goal of the Destinée camps is to develop the communion of our French family of churches, so that together we work to see Jesus’ Kingdom come. Its an opportunity for UK members of Salt & Light to join with our French brothers and sisters in the European network. |
| Theme |
“Therefore go and make disciples of all peoples”
When Jesus said this in Matthew 28.19, he aimed to transform this world. He entrusted the outworking of it to the church, a mission which remains still valid today. We want to grow in this aspect, each one where God has placed us, being ourselves the disciples of Jesus and making disciples around us and in the nations. This year, we will find:
- Jean Pillonel, leader of the Christian Centre of Estaque in Marseilles.
- Steve Thomas from Oxford in England, heads up the European Apostolic Team of Salt & Light.
- Dave and Chris Richards from Basingstoke in England, part of the European Apostolic Team.
- Andre Wilkinson, whose prophetic ministry and humour touched many last year.
- Jean-Christophe Lehmann, an evangelist from St Paul les Trois Chateaux.
- Marc Walther of Lausanne in Switzerland, works in establishing the church with the team "Joy in the city"
- Herve Guilloy of Carcassonne has a prophetic ministry impressed with the love of the Father
- Bob Whitchurch de Troyes, coordinator of Destiny France and Pasteur of the church of the Oasis
- Farid Bouchama of Marseilles, an evangelist and teacher in France and North Africa.

| Programme |
In the evenings, we want to experience powerful times of celebration, praise, teaching and time of ministry all together.
In the mornings, there will be workshops on subjects such as:
- Spiritual fruits and gifts – using them for our mission in Matthew 28.19
- Understanding Islam in the light of Matthew 28.19
- Biblical study – the life of a disciple in the letters to Timothy.
- Evangelism - how to put Matthew 28.19 into practice
- How to train disciples
- The Christian school
There will be complete programmes for children and young people up to 18 years.
The afternoon and a day-off are set aside for relaxation, and fellowship. The goal is not to fill the program with activities constantly, but to make it possible to develop friendships further. |
